We woke up to Zoey screaming. Ran in. BLOOD EVERYWHERE. We thought she was vomiting blood there was so much. Covering her face, hands, hair, pajamas, bedding.
Once she was relatively calmed down we were able to assess that she had fallen out of bed and caught the frame right on her mouth. She has two cuts on the outside lips, one on top and one on bottom, and one bad cut on the inside upper lip.
Here she is this evening, after most of the swelling has gone down.

I am so sorry for all of you!! She is still just as beautiful - but holy cow! OUCH!!

She'll so cute though - so sad.
There's nothing as scary as being woken up by your child screaming in the night! That mixed with blood must of been so terrifying! Hope you catch a nap today :)
Yikes! I'm glad she's okay, besides the swollen lip. Poor girl. And poor mom and dad.
oh my, how intense and scary. Audrey says she hopes Zoey's owie gets better soon and kissed the computer screen.
I'm so glad she is ok! Hopefully that won't happen again... poor thing!
