...of all miracles:

My girls are asleep. At the same time. In the middle of the day. Zoey hasn't napped in years, but she's asleep.

The possibilities are endless, but you know what sounds the best?

A nap.

ugh...

Sick girls = no sleep = cranky mommy.

 On another note, I really don't like being humbled. Like when I'm not expecting it. It's hard. And embarassing. And makes me want to crawl into a dark hole and never interact with humans again.

Ugh.

good days

I am experiencing a few more days when I feel like an okay mommy. Today was one of those days. We laughed a lot. We played a lot. We snuggled on the bed a lot. We cried very little. We ate healthy.

I wish for more days like today.
