Mother's Day Getaway

I may have left my husband and daughters for a weekend two months in a row. I may have even been gone on Mother's Day. I may have grabbed one of my best friends to meet my sister (another best friend) and one of her best friends in New York City. (Our husbands may have approved, helped plan, and paid for the trip.) We may have walked a little too much, and maybe we got turned around a time or two. We may have eaten ourselves sick, stayed up too late, and slept in the next morning. We may have seen the most fun show on Broadway and we might have swooned a teeny, tiny bit at the one and only Jack Kelly. We might have screamed like teenage girls through the entire show and maybe waited outside the theater for pictures and autographs and we may have even wanted Jack Kelly to come home with us (just to meet the husbands, of course). We may have spent too much money on umbrellas and candy and chocolate covered strawberries. We may have enjoyed one too many treats. Just maybe. We most definitely had the best weekend ever. Can't wait to do it again.
